Minimus size groups to book per 20 hour session is ten (10). Maximum size group to book is twenty-five (25) in person and fifty 50 students online. During this 20 hour workshop (meeting twice a week for a half hour) for children ages 6-13, students receive a mini boot camp in all things meant to help them twinkle! Offered as a Spring and Fall session, it is perfect for the star in your life. Help your group or organization teach children life skills like listening, deductive reasoning, problem solving, communication and enunciation, relationship building, critical thinking, and much more all while having fun! The workshop is best completed consecutively, but can be offered as either an intensive weekend, consecutive weekend, week(s) long, or month long program. The workshop culminates in a student produced showcase for parents. Core One: Improv/Comedy Students learn about the power of YES and comedy through games and skits Build Confidence Practice Deductive Reasoning Demonstrate Cooperation Art/Geometry/Math ​ Core Two: Script Writing Students are introduced to games and activities that help them gain an understanding of the writers process and begin to create their original show. Improves reading comprehension Strengthen communication and vocabulary Develops organization skills English/Art/Science Core Three: Music Students learn the basics of music and voice. (song composition, string instruments, percussion). Helps to strenghten skills in Geometry and Math. Builds Confidence Practice Fine Motor Skills Demonstrate Cooperation Core Four: Acting Students begin exercises to teach about acting Understand Sequencing Build short term memory Build Courage Develop imagination Math/History/Social Science Core Five: Dance students are introduced to the various forms of dance Core Six: : Costumes Students create individual costume pieces for their show Core Seven: Directing Core Eight:Stagecraft Finale Students learn the importance of rehearsal and put cumulative knowledge to practice.
